Such is his sagunaeshwaraw &his metaphysics spurred into a bhakthi movement in India.He relied upon the vedic texts as well as the text of prabhandham from saintly alwars in tamil to churn his view point of visishtawdhvaitha siddhawnthaw.
Ramanuja begins his commentary on brahma sutra called sri bhawshya thus:
Akhila Bhuvana Janma Sthaema Bhangawdhililae
Vinata Vividha Bhoota Vrata rakshaika Dikshae
Shruthi Shirasi Vidheeptae Brahmani Sreenivawsae
Bhavatu Mama Parasmin Shaemusee Bhaktiroopa.
May knowledge be transformed into intensive love directed to srinivasa(the highest brahman)become mine,who is the perceptor of being creator & annihilator as well& who protects.
